The movie is great! Love how Visconto works with light and shadows! And btw romy schneider is awesome in this movie! Totally different compared to her early stuff! Kind of frustrated and bored but in a good way...and here some trivia i once saw an madge interview about her ideas and insperations for the w mag esquarian shoot with klein and she said that she wachted viscontis ludwig because she liked romy and her costumes!

my main course is fashion and beauty but you have to work a lot on your own! its not that easy especially when you dont have fashion to work with! you need a good team and thats it! I think when you really want to become a photographer its better to work as an assistent and learn by doing! or maybe study somewhere else! sometimes i think it wasnt my smartest move to study here in munich! all those people who are succesfull didnt learn much at the uni! jürgen teller for example went straight to london when studied here! times were different!
another one is patrick bienert! he has some really good connections and worked from the beginning on his own or had big names in his curriculum vitae!
i dont want to compare these two because jürgen is on another level! its very impressing how he stays relevant for so many years!

I really like photography, but a rarely get out and do it properly, I wish i would because I think I could get good at it. And I totally agree with you that you dont need the best camera to take good pics. But its nice to have some cool gadjets, im forexample searching for a good flash. Im thinking of buying the Canon speelite 430ex, i've heard its good. I recently got the Canon 50mm 1.8 lens, and im very happy with it.
